Action combat is where it’s at and while this is an obvious move for MMORPGs, it surely took its goddamn sweet time to happen. Ultima Online private servers would easily run for you. Either the official game (solo friendly) or Nasomi (old school grouping). It'll also play through PlayOnMac if you don't wanna reboot. Guild Wars 1 is also a great game and just got a neat graphics patch. If you don't wanna reboot into Windows, you can pretty easily run these through PlayOnMac (Wine) and stay in MacOS. Project 1999 is the popular one, but I prefer Shards of Dalaya because I'm 100% casual these days (tiny population though). Otherwise, maybe give some Everquest private servers a go? Not sure what kind of video card you have in that Mac, but hopefully all these suggestions will work for you: You could play a Vanilla WoW private server.

Thanks in advance and take care Last MMO I played was WoW but that was on my gaming PC (which I sold before moving to Japan). More than happy to play it on very low settings at a very low resolution. I'm looking for something reasonably populated with low requirements.
